This project is about documenting work class creatives in Glasgow.

This started out when thinking about how uniform strips the identity of a person and after reading an article about how one in ten workers in creative industries jobs have working class roots became more of a project on class and how the working class are under-represented in the arts.

This is due to funding, support and pathways available to them. This isn’t me saying that middle class and upper class don’t have a right to belong in the arts but that there needs to be an even playing field so that working class can tell their stories.
